shetkaSTONE
shetkaSTONE is a light, strong material made from post consumer newsprint or cardboard. The colors of the product reflect the color of the original paper or cardboard material. A combination of fiber bonding and a mixture of clay and plaster or a polyester base are used to bind shetkaSTONE depending on its’ original fiber composition. The product is truly cradle to cradle because countertops, cabinets or tables made from shetkaSTONE can be reprocessed and made into a new generation of products, never having to re-enter the waste stream. The recycled content of the finished material is between 65% and 75% by weight.
